Welcome to fortheloveofphotos- photography by Candace. I am so glad you are here. I LOVE , LOVE and love to capture moments and make them into memories.

I have been a professional photographer in the greater Sacramento area for almost 15 years. I love my ability to create amazing shots with my clients. Capture the moment and make it a lifetime memory. I will travel up to 200 miles to your event.

I specialize in weddings- from 5-900 guests. In addition I love family sittings, corporate events, non- profit events, celebrations of life,engagements, save the dates, baptisms, senior portraits and as well as maternity shoots and babies.

I use top of the line equipment, Canon I shoot in both black and white and color-, and am always up to date on the latest bridal trends and whats hot in photography. I feel that using a journalistic approach to tell your story is the best way to capture your memories. I am open to what you want- if you love poses on pintrest- let's try them!

I am a mother to 4 amazing children, ranging in age from 34-15.

I am very active in many social platforms, my local church, Bayside and my community. I have a beautiful boxer named Buddha and I love Lake Tahoe and the ocean in Santa Cruz.

I fly to Cabo San Lucas every year to photograph the mother whales birthing their babies, pure magic. I often do donations of my services to assist with fundraising and assisting those who cannot otherwise afford a special portrait sitting.

I volunteer for Make a Wish and Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. I love to give my gift away to those in need.
